These images are all of one project that we undertook for our client alongside a general builder producing the walls in brick and the concrete bases for our clad stonework treads and risers to be affixed to.All of this work was cut from solid natural Portland limestone. We also have at our site in Somerset a lathe that can turn columns up to 2.8mtrs in length by 600mm in diameter. These would generally be turned in smaller sections but could be at this size if the stone were available. The balustrades seen on the other pages are obviously much smaller than that as we can turn any size below the ones mentioned again depending on the stone used.
