This stone firesurround came from a discussion with clients who wanted a contemporary but french in style stone fireplace, they were also new owners of a great pub close to Sherborne in Dorset. The renovation of this bar area included leather sofas and club chairs. Not wanting to lose space that could be used for a piece of furniture we designed the shelf in and support with a handy log store under. These stone firesurrounds can be made to suit a standard 36inch opening and are very useful if enlarging a fireplace as the shelf reduces the physical opening that the flue draws from.

The size of the one here is 1830mm wide x 1415mm tall or 72 inches x 56 inches tall
