A TRIPLE SPIRAL STAIRCASE

These 3 flights of stairs were clad with treads and risers in Ancaster hard white natural limestone. The structure had been built by others from steel and concrete. They had a small problem in that the screed of 65mm had been forgotten about so making all the levels wrong from each floor to the next landing. Templestone as ever managed to get over this and produce a fine set of stairs all with equal treads and risers from top to bottom.

This is taken from the 2nd floor looking down

the 3rd spiral. The stone will be more this colour

or lighter when dried out

This is taken with a different setting on the camera

and is more like the colour when the stone is wet.

This is looking up from the basement. You can see

from the pictures to the right the massive difference in

the overall look of the stairs.

Our clients had been looking for a very long time before

they found us but were very glad they had.
